Description Pinewood Derby Block/Kit Option 9000 Block or Kit with Four Wheels on the Ground Although the drawing below shows a Standard Wheelbase block, option 9000 applies to both Standard and Extended Wheelbase blocks or kits. Default Block or Kit By default, blocks and kits with standard or extended wheel base holes are precision drilled with one front axle hole drilled 1/16 inch higher so that the car rides on three wheels. When properly weighted, this technique provides better performance. Option 9000 Option 9000, Axle Holes - 4 Wheels On Ground allows you to order a Standard or Extended Wheelbase block or kit with all four axle holes drilled evenly, resulting in four wheels on the ground. Does Not Apply to Axle Slots Blocks and Kits with axle slots have four wheels on the ground. Option 9000 does not apply to kits or blocks with axle slots.
