Description Pinewood Derby Block Option 9003 Block with Wedge Cut Although the drawing below shows a Standard Wheelbase Slotted block, option 9003 applies to all blocks (parts 5600, 5601, 5602, 5603, 5611, 5612, and 5613). Default Block By default, blocks are not shaped in any way. Option 9003 Option 9003 results in a block cut into a wedge shape (see drawing for axle position on the resulting wedge). The back of the main wedge is 7/8 inch tall, and the front is 3/8 inch tall. Both pieces of wood are shipped. The top of the main wedge is sanded smooth. The saw cut is not sanded on the secondary wedge. Does Not Apply Pre-Cut Car Kits This option cannot be applied to pre-cut car kits, as they are already shaped.
