Leg tabs and the long fantail vent in the centre-back cleverly wrap around to form a type of legging for added body and saddle protection while riding. The front opening is covered with rectangular flap for wind and rain protection, and the partial lining adds warmth. The basic, clean shape and essential details alone comprise View A, an over-everything coat. It has raglan sleeves with wrist tabs, a rectangular collar, collar tabs and patch/flap pockets and can be made in a few hours. Both roomy coats fasten with heavy-duty gripper snaps and can be made in a variety of fabrics.
