A simple and striking batik from Nigeria with orange and white stripes against a black background. This adire fabric is hand-dyed in Southern Nigeria, West Africa. The stripes vary in width across the width of the fabric and run parallel to the selvedge. This particular fabric is additionally versatile as you can choose to use either side of the fabric. One side is a crisper version of the patterns with more orange while the other side is slightly more varied and darker with more black where you can see more of the melted wax effect in the finish. The fabric is 48 inches in width and is available in two lengths. You can choose between a 2.4-yard (2.2 metre) length or a 4.8-yard (4.4 metre) length. The fabric is made using 100% cotton and is suitable for a wide range of sewing projects.
