A red and white batik fabric from Nigeria, West Africa with an abstract hatch pattern. This design is a modern take on traditional batik fabric using hand-drawn, hand-dyeing techniques. It is dyed onto cotton brocade fabric. To give you an idea of the scale of the patterns on the fabric a tape measure is shown in the last image. This is a 2.4 yard length, which is approximately 2.2 metres. It is approximately 1.2 metres wide.
