This beautiful one-piece back violin is signed by Shu Mei Zhang. The fittings are rosewood Parisian Eye with an ebony fingerboard, nut and saddle. The instrument is in excellent condition and would be a great first violin for someone. The tone is clear and the instrument has some power. The response of the violin is quick and the instrument also responds to a lighter touch. The setup is completed here in our workshop with a French Despiau maple bridge, new sound post, fingerboard cambered and a set of Thomastik Dominant Strings with a Pirastro Wondertone Gold Label E.
