So he abandoned the extremes life nor return to the luxury life instead and discover the middle way, (like neither luxury nor poverty). He sat beneath a Bodhi tree, in deep meditation, and finally achieved enlightenment. Then on he is known as the Buddha. And spent the rest of his life teaching others about his discovery and path to achieve it. He gave his first sermon at Sarnath. Lord Buddha has preached for over forty-five years traveling from place to place.
