From 1881 to 1934, he was the Jananayaka and undisputed leader of Odisha. He has been compared to the all-time international patriotic Jananayaka Majini, the Garibaldi Kavur and Tolstoy. The important steps he took in the unification of the Odia-speaking regions were incomparable and extraordinary. The independent state of Odisha was born on April 1, 1936, as a result of a long half-century of uninterrupted efforts to unify the administrative division of the odia-speaking region. In Odisha at that time, his personality, foresight, selflessness, and enlightened talent were almost non-existent.   With the formation of a separate province, he was able to give a special political identity to the marginalized odia nation. He also made a special contribution to the formation of a separate Odisha administrative system. He was a self-respecting and sincere nationalist odia, for whom we are proud today. It is our duty to honor him as the father of modern odia. In view of this sense of moral responsibility, I have decided to compose his biography. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
